" NGV stand for Natural Gas Vehicle. "
Natural Gas is a economic source than the other alternatives such as Bio-fuel & Hybrid car. The answer is simply because its need lower maintenance cost. It is also a Environment Friendly energy as the ingredient is clean. Reports from the Department of Environment indicated that 60% of the major sources of air pollution resulted from vehicle exhaust emissions. Therefore, it is gaining tremendous importance in helping to reduce air pollution while maintaining a healthy environment for quality living.
Let's see what happened in the world now...
These are statistics on the NGV market in the year of 2007.
For NGV Malaysia, our statistic as below:
The Total of NGV Population in Malaysia as last updated = 26,040 vehicles
( Taxis = 25,068; Private = 904; Bus = 68 )
The table below refers to the population according to the state:-

And with reference to Petronas Malaysia, our NGV refueling stations will be increased by year 2008

A Snapshot to NGV System Kit

Part No. 1: CNG Cylinder Natural gas is stored at a maximum pressure of 3000 psi. P/S : CNG stand for Compressed Natural Gas. (called by NGV in Malaysia)
Part No. 2: Cylinder's ValveSafety and security purposes.
Part No. 3: Venting SystemDirect possible leaks at the cylinder's valve to the atmosphere.
Part No. 4: High Pressure PipeConnection between the CNG cylinder and the regulator.
Part No. 5: Fuel Select SwitchTo switch from gas to petrol or vice-versa.
Part No. 6: Filling ValveFilling of gas from refueling station and cut-off gas supply to regulator if necessary.
Part No. 7: RegulatorRegulates the pressure from the from the cylinder in 3 stages, from high pressure to atmosphere pressure. In the first stage, it reduce from 200 bar to 4 bar, then follow by 4 bar to 1.5 bar. Lastly, it is a modulation stage, delivering gas as needed by the engine.
Part No. 8: MixerTo allow a proper air/ fuel ratio to be distributed into the combustion chambers.
